Lovely Sargisons C.1930s Australian Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Jam Spoon 29g This is a rare find for the Australian silver collector, a very early Sargisons arts and crafts hand-beaten jam spoon. We estimate that it was made after Harold Sargisons purchased the Hobart business from his partner, George Miller, in 1919; say in the 1930s. The silver jam spoon has a generous hand-beaten spade shaped bowl with a slender handle; twists to the centre and open curls to the. It is stamped “SILVER” with the maker’s name “SARGISON’S”. The spoon is in very good vintage condition with no faults or damage to report. Please refer to the photos as these form part of the description. Measures: 13.5cm long, bowl 4.5 x 4cm, weighs 20g.
